The Gulf Diwan Kicks Off to Inspire and Empower Gulf Youth
Kuwait, December 10, 2024 – Under the esteemed patronage of H.E. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information, Culture, and State for Youth Affairs, and as part of a groundbreaking initiative to empower Gulf youth and foster cultural and intellectual connections among GCC countries, The Diwan has announced the launch of its flagship event, “The Gulf Diwan.”
Taking place alongside the Gulf Cup 26, the event will serve as a platform for creativity, innovation, and cultural dialogue, embodying the spirit of collaboration and unity that defines the Gulf region. Scheduled from December 20 to 23, 2024, near Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium in Kuwait, The Gulf Diwan aims to inspire and build creative partnerships among youth, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders.
Speaking about the event, Saad Al-Tami, President of The Diwan, said:
“The Gulf Diwan is not just an event. We are fulfilling our dream to provide Gulf youth with a space for connection, inspiration, and achievement. This marks our first event in the Gulf region, and we are proud to launch it in the beloved land of Kuwait. We firmly believe in a Gulf future built on pride in our heritage and traditions. The Diwan, a non-profit company established in 2023 at Harvard University, aims to unite experts, academics, policymakers, and students from across the Arab world. Our focus is on addressing issues of importance to the Gulf, and opening new horizons for youth to write their success stories, exchange ideas, and contribute to a brighter Gulf future.”
